MY Bharat
About
- Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) is an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports to empower Indian youth in the age group of 15-29 years through social mobility, educational equity, and practical skills.
- It was launched on 31st October 2023 on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (marking the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel) as an autonomous body to provide an overarching institutional mechanism for youth development and youth-led development.
- It is a ‘Phygital Platform’ (physical + digital) comprising physical activity along with an opportunity to connect digitally.
- MY Bharat offers experiential learning programs, complementing theoretical knowledge with practical work exposure.
