  • Launched in 2024<\/strong>, the IndiaAI Mission aims to establish a comprehensive ecosystem catalyzing AI innovation<\/strong> through strategic programs and partnerships across the public and private sectors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    What is Artificial Intelligence?<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    • Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the ability of machines to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence. <\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • It enables systems to learn from experience, adapt to new situations, and solve complex problems independently.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        7 Pillars of IndiaAI Mission<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        1. IndiaAI Compute Capacity:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        • This pillar aims to provide high-end compute power (GPUs) to Indian start-ups and academia at an affordable cost.<\/strong> \n
            \n
          • A Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) is a powerful computer chip that helps machines think faster, process images, run AI programs, and handle complex tasks more efficiently than a regular processor.<\/em> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • This platform where AI will be offered is called AI Marketplace.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            2. IndiaAI Innovation Centre:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            • These Centre will undertake the development and deployment of indigenous Large Multimodal Models (LMMs) and domain-specific foundational models<\/strong> in critical sectors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              3. IndiaAI Datasets Platform (AI Kosh):<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

              • AI Kosh (dataset platform) aims to collect, clean and offer ethical access for non-personal high-quality datasets <\/strong>to Indian researchers and startups for AI Innovation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                4. IndiaAI Application Development Initiative:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
                  \n
                • This pillar aims to develop AI applications for India specific challenges in sectors<\/strong> such as climate change and disaster management, healthcare, agriculture, governance, and assistive technologies for learning disabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  5. IndiaAI FutureSkills:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
                    \n
                  • It is conceptualized to mitigate barriers to entry into AI programs <\/strong>and will increase AI courses in undergraduate, masters-level, and Ph.D. programs.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Further, Data and AI Labs will be set-up in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities <\/strong>across India to impart foundational level courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                    6. IndiaAI Startup Financing:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
                      \n
                    • This pillar is conceptualized to support and accelerate deep-tech AI startups <\/strong>and provide them streamlined access to funding to enable futuristic AI Projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                      7. Safe & Trusted AI:<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
