  • The NAVYA (Nurturing Aspirations through Vocational Training for Young Adolescent Girls)<\/strong> initiative was launched in 2025<\/strong> to empower adolescent girls <\/strong>by equipping them with relevant skills for socio-economic independence.<\/strong>  <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • It is a joint initiative <\/strong>of the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD)<\/strong> and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Objectives<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • The scheme aims to empower adolescent girls aged 16 to 18 years<\/strong>, who have completed at least Class 10<\/strong>, by providing them with vocational training primarily in non-traditional <\/strong>and futuristic job roles<\/strong> such as digital marketing, cybersecurity, AI-enabled services, green jobs, and other emerging sectors. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The scheme also aims to empower them with skills ranging from personal hygiene to communication, workplace safety and financial literacy.<\/strong>  <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • NAVYA programme is being implemented under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      • PMKVY is a flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship to<\/strong> enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training.<\/strong><\/mark>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
