class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Pralay missile is an <strong>indigenously developed short-range, surface-to-surface weapon <\/strong>with a <strong>payload capacity ranging from 500 to 1,000 kg.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is capable of<strong> carrying multiple types of warheads<\/strong> against various targets at <strong>ranges of up to 500 km.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pralay is equipped with a<strong> solid propellant rocket motor<\/strong> and incorporates <strong>state-of-the-art guidance and navigation to ensure high precision.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Pralay missile\u2019s lethal edge lies in its<strong> quasi-ballistic nature.<\/strong>\u00a0\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Unlike traditional ballistic missiles that follow a high-arching, predictable path governed largely by gravity after the boost phase, Pralay travels on a <strong>flatter, depressed trajectory.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This lower flight profile <strong>reduces the time it remains visible to radar systems, <\/strong>giving enemy defences a much shorter window to detect, track, and intercept it.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The missile, which is meant for the<strong> Army and Air Force<\/strong>, will be the <strong>first ballistic missile in India\u2019s missile arsenal meant for conventional <\/strong>(non-nuclear) <strong>strikes.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It <strong>fills a critical gap in India\u2019s missile arsenal between long-range strategic systems<\/strong> like the Agni series and <strong>short-range battlefield weapons<\/strong> such as Pinaka rockets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
