has-vivid-red-color\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>About<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Saint Ravidas, also known as<strong> Guru Ravidas<\/strong> or <strong>Bhagat Ravidas<\/strong>, was a <strong>mystic, poet, social reformer and one of the most renowned saints of the northern India Bhakti movement.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Born in the<strong> late 14th century<\/strong> in <strong>Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh<\/strong>, <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Guru Ravidas belonged to a family of leatherworkers,<\/mark> traditionally regarded as a lower caste.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He <strong>strongly opposed social discrimination <\/strong>and believed that<strong> all human beings are equal, regardless of wealth, caste or status.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>His teachings focused on the <strong>concept of one formless (nirguna), attributeless divine reality.<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He<strong> rejected ritualism and external markers of caste and social hierarchy.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ravidas\u2019 devotional songs were included in the <strong>Guru Granth Sahib, <\/strong>Sikhism\u2019s holy book.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One of his famous disciples was the saint <strong>Mirabai, <\/strong>a 16th-century Hindu mystic poet and an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Among Ravidas\u2019s moral and intellectual achievements was the conceptualization of <strong>\u201cBegampura\u201d<\/strong>, a city that was free from caste, class and sorrow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color
