has-vivid-red-color\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>About<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The PM MITRA Scheme, announced in <strong>2021<\/strong>, aims to <strong>develop large scale and integrated textile parks<\/strong> to help the Indian textiles industry to build scale, reduce logistics costs and improve its competitiveness.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nodal Ministry: <strong>Ministry of Textiles.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anchored in the<strong> 5F vision <\/strong>(Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign), the scheme aims to <strong>facilitate India\u2019s textile industry to achieve global size <\/strong>and scale along with the creation of a <strong>modern and integrated textile value chain at one location covering the entire value chain.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under this scheme, the Government has approved <strong>7 sites<\/strong> for setting up of PM MITRA Parks, one each in <strong>Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The scheme envisages a<strong> Development Capital Support (DCS)<\/strong> of <strong>30% of the total project cost upto Rs. 500 crore<\/strong> for<strong> Greenfield Park<\/strong> and <strong>Rs. 200 crore<\/strong> for<strong> Brownfield Park<\/strong>.\u00a0\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The scheme also envisages a <strong>Competitive Incentive Support (CIS) of upto Rs. 300 crore per park<\/strong> as an incentive to manufacturing units to set up early in the park.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The scheme aims to create <strong>nearly 20 lakh direct and indirect jobs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PM
