class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Bab el-Mandeb Strait is a<strong> narrow waterway<\/strong> connecting the<strong> Gulf of Aden with the Red Sea.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This strait is an <strong>essential route for travel<\/strong> from the<strong> Indian Ocean to the Mediterranean, <\/strong>and it currently hosts a<strong> significant proportion of maritime transport between Asia and Europe<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Situated in the <strong>southern Red Sea<\/strong>, this 36-kilometer-wide passage is bordered on the eastern side by<strong> Yemen<\/strong>
