            • Developed\u00a0after the 1999 Kargil war<\/strong>, Agni-1 was created to precisely\u00a0fill the tactical gap between the 250-km\u00a0range\u00a0Prithvi-II and the longer-range Agni-II missile<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0\n

              • The\u00a0Agni series<\/strong>\u00a0ranges from\u00a0Agni-I to Agni-V<\/strong>, with the latter the most advanced (with a\u00a0range of 5,000 km<\/mark><\/strong>) and first tested in 2012.
