- Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated 75 redeveloped railway stations across 20 states. These stations have been modernised under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS).
- Launched in 2022, ABSS aims at long-term redevelopment of railway stations across the country with a focus on better passenger experience, improved accessibility, multimodal connectivity and facilities that reflect local heritage and culture.
